Lake Suwa Industrial Region - Japan`s Capital for Precision Technologies Oct 13-15, 2005

Suwa, Nagano, Japan 01/09/2005 - Suwa is famous in Japan as its most advanced concentration of subcontractors specialized in ultra precision machining, optics and other sub-micro manufacturing capabilities. More than 1000 of these manufacturing and research development companies have operated in Suwa for several decades and supported many global multinational corporations. World famous manufacturers such as Seiko, Epson and Olympus were born from the innovative labs of the Suwa region. The region has became an important provider of product development and manufacturing for computer and electronic components, LCD, automotive parts, semiconductor process equipment and optical devices.

Suwa Industrial Messe was established in 2002 as an annual exhibition cum conference with international participation every mid October. The event showcases Suwa`s technical capabilities in supporting domestic and international requirements for leading edge technologies and manufactured products. 

The Show Organizers welcome participation by international companies at this year's exhibition and conference held during October 13-15, 2005.

Suwa is conveniently located about two hours from Tokyo by non-stop express rail. The Suwa Regional Association of Companies will gladly provide interested international companies with information about qualified providers of products and services in the Suwa Region. Applications requesting information about the conference or information  about qualified providers of products and services are provided within the Exhibit/Seminar section.
