The Suwa Precision Group comprises precision engineering components manufacturers from Japan, Singapore and China with their origins from Suwa Japan.

Located in Nagano Prefecture, Suwa is known as "The Oriental Switzerland" for its long history of manufacturing precision instruments such as miniature precision watch component, camera optical precision component, its many world records such as the birthplace of the world`s first quartz watch by Seiko Epson and the world`s first portable printer by Epson.

Each of the current Suwa-based Group members has more than 30-40 years of manufacturing and process engineering know-how:

• Ceriotec Corp - Swiss CNC machining, CNC lathe machining or turning miniature precision components from diameter 0.1mm, e.g. lead screws, hinge components
• Nagano Sankoh Corp - Deep drawn metal stamping, sheet metal forming, metal stamping
• Mizuhata Seiki - CNC turning, CNC lathe machining miniature precision components, and gear cutting, gear hobbing of miniature gears
• Linos Corp - Manufacturing miniature printed circuit boards (single and double-sided PCB / PWB) from 1mmx2.5mm footprint
• Shibue Seimitsu Co., Ltd. - Escomatic machining, Swiss CNC machining and turning of connector pins and micro-shafts from diameter 0.3mm
• NPS Corporation - Escomatic machining of micro-shaft for micro motors from diameter 0.5mm

Suwa Precision Engrg, based in Singapore, specializes in:

• Progressive die design and metal stamping tool fabrication for the connector and semiconductor industries
• High speed stamping for the electronics industry

In China, Wuxi Suwa Plus Precision Co., Ltd., located in Wuxi which is less than 2 hours drive from Shanghai, is engaged in the fabrication of tool and die spares and custom metal stamping.

The applicant for Suwa Precision Group membership must have origin from Suwa, Japan, possesses sufficient depth in precision engineering manufacturing expertise. and receives endorsement from the Daiichi Precision Industry Association.

Group Marketing Office

The Group Marketing Office is a separate organization located within Suwa Precision Engineering in Singapore with these functions:

• Appoints territory sales reps to promote the group`s marketing efforts worldwide
• Technology representatives for niche precision parts such as miniature precision balls from Nanoball GmbH and ultraprecision micro-machined parts
• Assists multinational original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the latters` outsourcing of manufacturing activities: China outsourcing and Japan outsourcing
