The motor housing diameters decreased from 40mm-30mm(1983), 25mm-20mm(1986), 15mm-10mm(1990), 8mm(2001) to 4mm(2005).

Draw Stamping Die Design and Drawing Capabilities:

  • The increasingly smaller stepper motor housing pushed our continuous improvement in die design and manufacturing capability for lower tolerance requirement. Design of transfer die shifted to progressive draw die design.
  • Added newer progressive presses total 16 Aida transfer presses, 3 Aida Komatsu servo presses and 48 precision presses (max 200T)
  • Weight reduction of the motor housing challenged us to draw thinner stainless steel and aluminum.
  • Progressive stamping die for stamping material thickness from 0.2mm-1.6mm
  • Draw die for drawing diameter 4mm to 100mm and depth max 80mm
  • Design draw die with cam to perform side cut of the stepper motor housing
  • Cut within drawn metal portion of the stepper motor housing
