CDROM metal stampings - stainless steel 0.15 mm thick. Carbide die was designed with 20 stations for use on 45T press at about 200 spm. Die Design for CDROM metal stampings

Our chief tool and die designer has been designing and manufacturing stamping tool and die in Singapore since 1987. Our CAD station uses ExcessPro which provides dxf and iges format files. A few examples of the parts for which we have designed the stamping dies are shown here. Click on the pictures for enlarged view.

Our Die Design Advantages:

  • Cut cost through incorporating secondary processes into the die - example is in die tapping using gewinde former. In-die tapping increases productivity and improves tapping quality, as it avoids the need for time-consuming, labour intensive secondary operations such as tapping and setting welded or crimped nuts.
  • Work with the product designer in product engineering of the part. Input this into the die design.
  • Design tool for automation line - we have done many such jobs for the semiconductor industry.
Metal stamping of brass pointer used in measuring gauge. 0.2mm material. Metal stamping die design for measuring gauge pointer - 15 station 45T press

Carbide Stamping Die Design Capabilities:

  • Progressive stamping die size max 400x700mm
  • Carbide die for metal stamping of aluminum and stainless steel material
  • Progressive stamping die for stamping material thickness above 0.15mm
  • Provide iges and dxf formats
  • Currently ship out 2 dies per month pace
  • Leadtime 4 weeks for short run and simple blanking die
  • Leadtime 6-8 weeks for mass production die with progressive stations and complex drawing or forming
  • 20 years of experience in designing and manufacturing over 1500 Progressive Tool and more than 200 Lead Frame Downset Tool
Capacitor cap with 4 legs stamping from cold rolled steel 0.4mm thick. Die design 10 stations in 45T presses. Die design of a strong spring metal part. Tight tolerances called for the radius of the arc which required restriking station to counteract springback. Progressive die design with 20 station; 60T press. Metal stamping from stainless steel 0.3mm thick.
